ATTORNEYS Daniel A. CrawfordMr. Crawford has represented small and medium-sized businesses throughout his career, as well as their owners, investors and employees, primarily in litigation or pre-litigation disputes. He has represented restaurants and retailers, a hotel and a hospital, manufacturers and distributors, outdoor advertisers and internet companies, to name a few. He has represented homeowners associations (HOAs) and several public entities. He has represented shareholders, directors, partners and sole proprietors, contractors and developers, building and landowners, and entrepreneurs. Mr. Crawford has also worked with businesses and businesspeople to structure transactions properly up front, to keep them out of costly litigation later. Mr. Crawford has also helped numerous individuals protect their rights. Either singly or in class actions, he has represented— store and restaurant employees, insureds, insurance agents, shareholders, homeowners, public employees, and independent contractors. He has represented a handful or two of accident victims and even a few criminal defendants (all innocent, of course). Mr. Crawford has practiced before various California State trial and appellate courts, before all four United States District Courts sitting in California, and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also practiced before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois (Chicago), the Southern District of New York (NYC), and the Eastern District of Arkansas (against Wal-Mart, in its own backyard). Mr. Crawford was selected as a “Rising Star” in the Los Angeles legal market by SuperLawyers magazine in both 2007 and 2008. He believes the most valuable quality (and one of the rarest) an attorney can possess is good judgment. Mr. Crawford received his Juris Doctor degree in 1996 from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was selected for the editorial staff of the American Criminal Law Review, the nation'’s preeminent journal of criminal law. Mr. Crawford was also selected to participate in Georgetown'’s renowned Appellate Litigation Clinic, where he and his partner student counsel obtained a reversal for their client before the United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit. See Bazuaye v. United States, 83 F.3d 482 (D.C. Cir. 1996) (holding postal inspectors who illegally seized arrestee’s bail money were not immune from liability). Mr. Crawford received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics (minor) in 1993 from California State University, Los Angeles.Personally, Dan is active in his community as a board member of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce. He has done volunteer work for Bet Tzedek Legal Services and performed extensive pro bono work for clients whose rights would otherwise have been unprotected. He is an adequate tennis player but excels as a tennis fan.

Henry G. WeinsteinMr. Weinstein brings to the firm over 20 years of extensive background and experience in all aspects of commercial, business, real estate and class action litigation. He earned his J.D. at Loyola of Los Angeles Law School in Los Angeles, California in 1988 where he was a Note and Comment Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and published “Note, White v. Western Title Insurance Co.: The Duty Continues,” 21 Loy. L.A. L. Rev. 399 (1987). He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1985 with a B.A. in Economics.Mr. Weinstein is a member of the Los Angeles and Riverside County Bar Associations. He is devoted to his volunteer work that has included providing pro-bono legal services to APLA clients, delivering food for Project Angel Food on a weekly basis, participating in community outreach programs, sitting on the junior board of directors of Para Los Ninos, and teaching English at an orphanage when he lived in India from 2000-2002.
